Rachelle Ann Go gives a mini tour of her house in London

By Cherry Sun

As promised, Rachelle Ann Go has welcomed her fans and followers to her cozy house in London via her second vlog.

Rachelle found the time to vlog during the quarantine. Her first video featured the house-hunting she and her husband Martin Spies did when they moved to London.

Martin got the key to their new residence when Rachelle was on an extended break in the Philippines early this year. The Kapuso star and international theater diva got to set foot for the first time at their dream home in March.

For her second vlog, Rachelle gave her fans and followers a mini tour of their house while Martin played as her videographer.

She showcased the do-it-yourself projects that she and her husband did during the lockdown. Those included putting the tiles at their entry way, repainting their walls and fences, setting up decorative lights, and cultivating plants in different corners of their living space.

Rachelle introduced how she incorporated the Filipino habit of not allowing shoes inside their house when she discussed their entry way. She also gave a peek at their mud room, their living room and reading corner, their kitchen and dining area, their conservatory, and their garden.

She highlighted vintage pieces and heirlooms that are now part of their home, and she also identified where they bought and sourced out some of their furniture and home items.

Rachelle shared how they chose their London residence, saying, “We loved the fact that the ceiling is really low. It reminded us of like country houses 'di ba. Every time we go to the countryside, 'yung mga bahay doon, the country houses, ano siya, low-ceiling and it's tiny. Really cozy so that's why we love it.”

She also promised to give another tour of their house in another vlog once they have finished renovating and organizing their home.

Rachelle said, “I'm so happy that I was able to share with you our little house here in London. Kahit malayo ako, nai-share ko na rin sa inyo finally. Slowly, inaayos pa namin, 'no Martin? It's still not done but yeah, we are happy and comfortable in this house, especially si Martin. He loves his garden. That's his favorite part, like he loves to grill and barbecue.”
